The aim of our quiz club is Awareness and Knowledge.
“5 points to Team A”, our teacher said and all the girls in my team began jumping with joy as we won that day’s quiz. This is typically what happens almost every Wednesday at Quiz Club. Quiz Club is a club meant for all those quiz-lovers out there who are fascinated by the prospect of quizzing. Every session of Quiz Club is packed with mind-boggling questions from various genres like music, sports and current affairs, all designed to expand our knowledge considerably. Its main objective is to train students for forthcoming quizzes and to enable us to attempt them confidently. . Quiz Club also sends students to various quizzes regularly, a few of which are the Hindu YW Quiz, the Murugappa Madras Quotient Quiz and the TOI Quiz. All these experiences coupled with the training received at the Quiz Club greatly boost up our confidence and expands our knowledge. The teachers guide us and help us constantly by devoting each session to a particular topic. So, all those people out there who are fascinated by the world of quizzes, join the Quiz Club to achieve your goals. We in the quiz club do not want the children to be limited in their knowledge. We want them to be aware of what is happening in India and all over the world.
Children have to be aware of the past events so that they do not fall into the same trap of wars and apartheid.
They have to be aware of the current issues, about people in the limelights and their beliefs. About environmental concerns so their future can be safe and secure.
The children are divided into groups and quiz competitions are regularly conducted in school, prizes are given to the children to encourage them. Children are encouraged to actively participate in the inter-school quizzes.
The quiz club children have bought laurels to our school by winning the Don-Bosco Inter-School Quiz Competition
