On 12th March 2024, the choir explored the theme of ‘peace’ and ‘being used by God’ for His glorious work, through their assembly titled ‘A Thousand Voices”. Beginning with a canon ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’, which is Latin for ‘grant us peace’, the children then rendered a recitative narration of how we have ripped peace apart and what we need to do to put things back together – leading them into the song ‘Sing’ (by Gary Barlow). The assembly ended with the entire school joining the choir in singing ‘Use me’ – a plea to Jesus to use us to do His Will.
